  Our family is so happy to call Good Shepherd home for many reasons. It is a caring community who believes the love of Jesus truly is for everyone. We joyfully welcome everyone regardless of age, race, gender identity, sexual orientation, ability, etc. The pastor's sermon is like a brief Bible study every Sunday and I always walk away with a renewed spirit and more knowledge. We attend the contemporary service and love the Ozark-style music. The church participates in many community service and social justice events. There are opportunities for all ages to deepen and enrich their spiritual life through our faith formation programs. Your doubts and questions are truly welcome here and we invite you to share life and grow in faith with us. Come as you are!

  I'm 60, well there I said it. I grew in church, and I have attend various denominations in my life. I enjoy contemporary worship music but have found many churches lacking in substance. At Good Shepherd I found the music I love and the liturgy and weekly communion I need. Combined with the best, most thought provoking sermons I have ever heard by Clint Schnekloth. Good Shepherd is alive in it's faith. I have never attended a church that had so many outreach programs nor have I ever felt so compelled to use my gifts to do the same. I feel welcome and cared about in the church. Come as you are bring your gifts and talents, join us.

  I love Good Shepherd Lutheran. As an ELCA church, we adhere closely to the doctrines and theology of the larger church. I love the sense of community, inclusiveness, and caring congregation.

  Being new to the area, I felt very welcome here. My family quickly felt inspired, and started participating in church activities. Every time I visit my spirit gets renewed.

  My husband grew up Lutheran. I grew up Episcopalian. We love the contemporary service, where Pastor Clint plays the guitar, and sings beautifully, along with seven to eight band members. The youngest band member is ten years old and rocks the drums! Other services offer very talented musicians, featuring Robert Mueller and his lovely family from the University of Arkansas. Our teenagers love this church, the talented musicians and the youth group activities. GSLC has an awesome staff who have fallen in love with our new pastor. We moved here eight years ago from Southern CA and found this Church had the most open minded, down to earth, really friendly and genuine people after comparing many others places. Don't look any farther. Stop by and say hi.
